Clothing Closet

Our first giveaway was held in August 1995, when we were located at 140 South Main Street. At this “Back to School” event, we provided loads of kids’ clothing, lunch, and bags of bread. We held several giveaways throughout the years, and all were well attended.

In 1999 we moved into our current location at 445 South Main Street, which allowed space to house all the clothing donations. The River of Life Clothing Closet began serving clients on a twice-monthly basis.  Over the years, volunteers have sorted through literally tons of clothing, keeping only the best to offer those in need.

It may sound strange, but a benefit of COVID is that it forced us to find a new way to serve clients. Not allowed indoor gatherings and having to practice social distancing, we moved our closet outdoors.

Here we continue to offer a fabulous selection of free clothing for men, women, and children.

Our dedicated volunteers will help you with your selections.

If you want to just browse, that's OK too.

We hope you will “shop” with us soon!

As we said, you can’t beat the prices!

It would be our pleasure to serve you.

And if you would like, to pray with you and share with you our love for our Lord Jesus.

PS: We're always looking for volunteers.
